GM slashing its workforce

Well History has a way of repeating itself and here we are. Once again the US auto industry is in serious doo doo. GM is about to slash some 30,000 jobs and 12 plants from its lists in an effort to dump 7 billion in operation costs.

I use this page to get things bouncing around my head out so I can quiet my brain from time to time. If you find them interesting great, I love discussing and don't expect folks to agree with me. In my experience you rarely learn much from folks that agree with you. If you get involved in a back and forth with me understand that just because I don't seem to give ground doesn't mean I am not critically thinking about what you have said. Changing someones mind for them is a rare event... if I come away from a discussion with a more information from more points of view... and I think I provided someone else with the same I think of it as successful time spent.
